SACRED STONY STRINGS

This ukulele group is from Stony Plain United Church and has been playing since 2014 for special events, including the annual Advent Celebration/Choir Cantata or other venues.  Their practices are open to all who enjoy the fellowship of playing and singing together and who want to learn more about ukulele or other stringed instruments. 

While participating in sacred or gospel music at church, this group also plays all genres of music including folk, jazz, rock and pop music.   Their love of performing and easy and engaging style have delighted audiences in the local area.

They meet Wednesdays at 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary. You do not have to be an experienced player, even if you are interested in trying this out – come on down. They can even lend you a ukulele!
